I dithered about going all afternoon as there appeared to be no wind then eventually went down around 5pm. Nick, Jim and Ian were out on ~8m, and Tom progressing his learning. I rigged 8.5m and had a good time blasting back and forth for just over an hour, particularly enjoyable as I almost turned back as there appeared to be no wind on the way. GPS said 30 knots, but not sure I believe that: I did pick up speed down one wave face, but not that much.
